Water Quality Outcomes for Cape York through Communications & Engagement

  1. Media for the Reef A media specialist will be engaged to produce approximately 2 x communications resources per month (11 months) about Cape York Water Quality projects and relevant information to educate the broader community about water quality issues and impacts for Cape York; and projects and program underway to Improve water quality (good news stories - what land managers are doing) 2. Case studies for communicating Short film/s show-casing the work of Indigenous and non-Indigenous land managers highlighting reef protection to be produced.   2. Objective 1 Media for the Reef – a media specialist has been engaged to produce approximately 2 x communications resources per month about Cape York Water Quality projects and relevant information to educate the broader community about water quality issues and impact for Cape York, and the projects and programs underway to improve water quality (good news stories – what land managers are doing).
  3. Objective 2 Case studies for communicating – Robyn May and Adam Plant (Comms Assist) have commenced itinerary and story-board for producing six short film/s showcasing the work of Indigenous and non-Indigenous land managers highlighting reef protection. Gully and Grazing coordinator (CYNRM) and Grazing extension officer (SCYC) are liaising with relevant partners.
