Pennefather Beach community clean-up

The Nanum Wungthim Land and Sea Rangers are inviting the community to join them for a coastal clean-up at Pennefather Beach on 18-22 of September. 

“It’s going to be a real community event, aimed at building awareness of the impact of ghost nets and marine debris on our beautiful coastline,” Ranger coordinator Marietta Matasia said. 

As well as collecting rubbish, the five-day event provides for camping, barbecues, networking opportunities, and time for recreational activities, such as fishing, at the popular beach spot.
